Applications are considered on a rolling basis

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven User Research Specialist to join our Research & Insights team for parental leave cover. You'll play a vital role in helping teams across Toca Boca understand our players' needs and behaviors.

You will be the go-to person for planning, executing, and communicating user research, ensuring that insights have a real impact on our products. If you love diving deep into the "why" behind player behavior and turning those findings into actionable strategies, this role is for you!

You’ll be at the heart of our research efforts, collaborating with data scientists, market researchers, and product teams to champion a user-centered approach to everything we do.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support our Toca Boca World teams with all their playtesting needs. You'll run workshops for PlaytestCloud, arrange in-house testing sessions, and help teams analyze and understand the feedback.

  • Meet with stakeholders to understand their research needs, and then plan and execute qualitative research projects like interviews and focus groups.

  • Analyze data from your research and present the findings in inspiring and engaging ways to teams across the studio.

  • Take turns with the team to create and present short, snappy trend reports on the kids and tweens market during our studio-wide Monday meetings.

  • You'll be responsible for managing our Kids Panel and coordinating with vendors for our research activities.

  • Work with our legal team to ensure our research activities are top-notch when it comes to privacy and safety.

What you bring
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a user research role.

  • A "hit the ground running" mentality - you're confident, self-going, and ready to make an impact from day one.

  • Experience conducting user interviews and usability tests, preferably with kids and tweens.

  • Experience creating user surveys for both qualitative and quantitative studies.

  • Outstanding presentation skills and a passion for sharing insights in a compelling way.

  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work with various stakeholders to understand their needs and how your work fits into the bigger picture.

  • Fluent in English and Swedish

Good to know!

This is a 12-month parental leave cover position starting in August 2026. It is based in our Stockholm office with a hybrid working model (part office, part working from home). You need to be located in Sweden as we are unable to support relocation or offer remote work. As we’re an international company, with over 20 nationalities working here, and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
